Conscious Aging

Growing older is not for sissies. Courage is required of people who society says are economically-, professionally- and socially-irrelevant the older they get. Mindful therapy frames aging as an opportunity for higher consciousness, not a pathological problem. Mindful therapy allows you to begin living your previously unlived life. As the body naturally slows down, the heart and mind are freed to explore ideas and behaviors that family and career-building prevent earlier in life. Aging consciously is a journey from complexity back to simplicity. You will leave old limitations behind, form new relationships, unlock hidden talents, learn to live in the present moment and take the time for long-ignored spiritual explorations. Mindful psychotherapy guides you through a reappreciation of your life’s accomplishments, setting of new physical, mental and emotional goals and writing of a whole new life story for your next 10-, 20-, 30- or more years of adult life. You will learn to do perhaps do less outwardly, but accomplish more inwardly.
